Dr. Lu graduated from the University of Western Ontario with his Doctor of Medicine in 1992. He then completed his residency in family medicine and is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Dr. Lu obtained further training in anesthesiology and practiced emergency medicine and anesthesia in a rural setting for four years. He then obtained his Specialty Fellowship in Anesthesiology (FRCPC) from the University of Toronto.
