DDS, MD, MSc., FRCDC Dr. Johnson Cheung is a Board-certified specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Western Ontario. From there, he studied Dentistry at the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction and then began specialist training in the 6-year joint Doctor of Medicine (MD)-Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at Dalhousie University. During this time, he also completed a Masters thesis focusing on procedural sedation anesthesia and post-operative pain control. After completing his OMFS residency, Dr. Cheung practiced for two years in New Brunswick and then pursued a 1-year fellowship program in TMJ surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor focused on minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures and arthroplasties.
