She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008, where she received the Academy of General Dentistry award. BSc, DDS Dr. Shivji moved to Calgary from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania when he was in Grade 1 and has been a proud Calgarian ever since. He completed a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree at the University of Calgary and then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2010 at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Shivji has practiced dentistry since 2010 and his scope of practice is extensive. He particularly enjoys dental implants and Invisalign treatments for patients who want to feel more confident in their smiles or who have difficulty due to missing teeth. He completed a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantology in San Francisco in 2015 and has been an Invisalign provider since 2014. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Alberta. Dr. Tang has been practicing dentistry in Calgary since 2011 and offers comprehensive dental care for families – from orthodontic treatment for our younger patients to implants and tooth replacement for those with more complex needs. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Queen’s University, where she was also a member of the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. During her time at Queen’s, she received multiple honours, including the U Sports Academic All-Canadian designation, the Queen’s Academic Athletic Award, the W.H. MacInnes Scholarship, and graduated with distinction. Dr. Nixon went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. DMD Dr. Brandon Lee was born here in Calgary but was raised in Vancouver. After completing his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia, he decided to move back to Calgary to start his dental career. Dr. Lee enjoys many aspects of general dentistry including: oral surgery, endodontics, oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea and dental prosthesis. Building relationships with patients and ensuring positive experiences is of paramount importance to Dr. Lee. When not thinking about teeth, Dr. Lee enjoys travelling, playing volleyball, and spending time with his dog, Bailey.
