Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

What should I bring to my first consultation?

Please bring: referral and recent x-rays from your dental office, information about any x-rays (CBCT) taken at another specialty office, a list of medications you are currently taking including doses and frequency, your dental insurance information if applicable, and your Alberta Health Care card. All patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What types of anesthesia are offered?

We offer General Anesthetic (patients are completely unconscious) and Intravenous (IV) Sedation (deep sedation where patients may feel drowsy or fall asleep but can breathe on their own). Dr. Bureau will determine the most appropriate anesthetic option during your consultation based on your medical history, age, and relevant risk factors.

How does payment and insurance work?

Consultation fees are payable at the time of your appointment. We offer direct billing to all insurances for surgical treatment as a courtesy. A pre-authorization is always sent to your insurance before surgery. For surgery, we accept assignment of up to two dental insurance benefits with pre-approval and a signed Visa or Mastercard imprint. Payment plans are available.

What is the cancellation policy?

A minimum $250 cancellation fee will be applied if you do not show up for surgery without notice, surgery is cancelled with less than 5 business days notice (unless for a medical reason with a physician's note required), or pre-surgery instructions were not followed and led to cancellation.
