Dr. Shkopich was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He completed his undergraduate training in physiology and subsequent dental degree at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. Dr. Shkopich worked at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where he treated many medically compromised and sedation patients. Dr. Shkopich moved to Edmonton in 2014 and began his formal career in the field of dentistry. He found excellent mentors early on which allowed him to learn an extensive amount on sedation and implant dentistry. Dr. Shkopich has a particular interest in implant and IV sedation dentistry. Much of his free time is spent away at educational courses to help continually improve his own techniques beyond those achieved in dental school.
