Dr. Shkopich was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He completed his undergraduate training in physiology and subsequent dental degree at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. Dr. Shkopich worked at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where he treated many medically compromised and sedation patients. Dr. Shkopich moved to Edmonton in 2014 and began his formal career in the field of dentistry. He found excellent mentors early on which allowed him to learn an extensive amount on sedation and implant dentistry. Dr. Shkopich has a particular interest in implant and IV sedation dentistry. Much of his free time is spent away at educational courses to help continually improve his own techniques beyond those achieved in dental school. Dr. Cheema was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and later moved to Vancouver to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia. Throughout her training, she gained valuable experience in a wide range of clinical settings, treating patients of diverse backgrounds and needs. Dr. Cheema is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and takes pride in making dentistry a comfortable experience for everyone. She has a special interest in restorative and preventive dentistry, with a focus on helping patients maintain healthy smiles for the long term. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their oral health decisions. Dr. Kyu Young Park was raised in Vancouver, where he developed a love for the beautiful outdoors. Dr. Kyu went on to Vanderbilt University to pursue a double degree in Neuroscience and Piano Performance. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia, and has served northern Alberta cities before settling in Edmonton. Dr. Kyu is dedicated to learning and staying current in the field of dentistry by regularly attending conferences and workshops to ensure that treatment can be provided with the best care. In particular, he is committed to making every dental visit comfortable and provides IV sedation for anxious patients and wisdom teeth extractions.
