Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

What exactly happens during a CBCT appointment?

You'll sit or stand while the scanner rotates around your head, taking dozens to hundreds of low dose X-ray images in under a minute. You simply remain still for crisp 3D results.

Why might my dentist recommend a CBCT scan over traditional X-rays?

Your dentist chooses CBCT when they need precise 3D detail, such as for implant planning, complex root canals, surgical guidance, or TMJ assessment.

How does CBCT radiation compare to a medical CT scan?

CBCT uses significantly less radiation, often only a small fraction of a full medical CT scan, while providing 3D dental imaging.

Should I worry if I’m pregnant or might be pregnant?

Your dental team will evaluate risks and benefits. Generally we recommend avoiding CBCT in early pregnancy unless absolutely necessary, and we always use shielding when appropriate.

How should I prepare before my CBCT scan?

Remove metal objects like piercings, dentures, glasses, or removable appliances. Wear comfortable clothing. You don’t need to fast or change your routine.

How long does the entire CBCT process take?

Total appointment time runs 10–20 minutes, most of it spent on setup and review. The actual scan itself takes less than a minute.

Will I feel discomfort or pain during the scan?

No. CBCT is quick, painless, and non-invasive. You simply stay still while the machine rotates.

Can I take my CBCT images to another dentist or specialist?

Yes. Most clinics provide DICOM files or diagnostic reports you can share. Other dental professionals can use those images for consultation.
