Meet Dr. Nabil Tabbara (DDS) Dr. Tabbara has been practicing as a general dentist since 1980 and teaching at Western University since 1993. He is fascinated by how much dentistry can offer to patients, when the boundaries of traditional dentistry practice are expanded. Following accreditations by various organizations, he treats patients for TMJ problems, sleep-disordered breathing (snoring and obstructive sleep apnea) and orofacial pain. Dr. Tabbara’s expertise extends to orthodontics and, in order to help decrease the need for braces the Myobrace system is our newest addition. Dr. Tabbara has lectured nationally and internationally to dentists, physicians and other health care providers about these fields. He is an evaluator for Cranio journal. Dr. Tabbara has been selected to evaluate foreign trained dentists in their credentialing process to be licensed to practice in Canada.…

DMD, AEGD He joined the Division of Craniofacial Orthopedic at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) where he focused not only on establishing a course on Periodontics for the Orthodontic residents and a hospital practice of periodontics and surgical implants side but he also expanded his career by co-establishing hospital dentistry at AUBMC. Dr. Itani is a fellow in the International College of Dentist (ICD), a prestigious honor dental society. Dr. Itani lifework strengthened his belief in teamwork and gained a strong knowledge of communication skills with various medical specialties. He strongly believes in interdisciplinary approach to dentistry and its implication and benefit to his patient. Outside professional life, Dr. Itani enjoys spending time with his family, playing Golf and Tennis.

Dr. Nada served on the executive committees of various dental outreach organizations, including Dental Outreach Community Service for Kids and the Federation of Canadian Dental Student Associations (Vice President). She had the distinct honour of being elected Class President for three consecutive years before being chosen as Western University’s Dental Student Society President in her final year. Dr. Nada was the Valedictorian of her dental class and the recipient of the prestigious Canadian Dental Association Student Leadership Award, an honour recognizing a graduate who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, character, and the potential to become a leader within the dental profession and the community.
