Dr. Katsikeris received his dental degree and Doctor of Dentistry (PhD equivalent) from the University of Athens Dental School. He trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto from 1983-1986 and then went on to teach Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same institution from 1986-1999. From 1999-2011, he headed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic in a major hospital in Athens, Greece. Currently, he is the Director of the Undergraduate Program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Katsikeris’ main interests are orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery and implant surgery. He has presented over 50 papers in meetings both in Greece and other overseas locations. He is the author of over 40 papers published in various journals.
