Dental Hygienist Lucia was born in Dominican Republic. She graduated with a degree in dentistry from the Universidad Autonoma de Santa Domingo in 1984 and worked as a general practitioner for 15 years. She immigrated to Canada in 1999 and became a Registered Dental Hygienist at Yorkville College in 2008. She enjoys her job because it enables her to improve patients self motivation by enriching their oral health education. Her goal has always been to deliver professional, gentle and thorough dental hygiene care to all her patients. She enjoys the opportunity of sharing information, and different oral hygiene techniques that she knows will make a positive difference in their oral health.

Founder / Dentist With over 30 years working as a General Practitioner, Dr. Jose Antonio Alfonso Canals has been particularly focused on achieving a painless dentistry. Dr. Canals obtained his degree at the University of Havana, Cuba in 1983, while then immigrating to Canada in 1994. Dr. Canals has fully completed all equivalencies at the University of Toronto to become a licensed General Practitioner. Dr. Canals loves to play and watch baseball and is an active ping-pong player. He also loves 70's music.

Dental Hygienist Claudia graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of Cartagena and was a General Practitioner for 9 years in Colombia. After settling with her family in Canada in 2004, she obtained her Dental Hygiene Diploma at George Brown College in Toronto. Claudia is very friendly, well organized, and a remarkably competent dental hygienist. She has been with us since 2007 and she strives to share her knowledge and give our patients the best oral treatment possible.
