Nervous about the dentist

Questions to ask
  • Say you’re nervous when you book, and ask what helps: a longer appointment, breaks, numbing, laughing gas or sedation.
  • If sedation is an option, what does it cost, and will I need someone to take me home?

Cost and paying

Their website doesn’t list prices or ways to pay.

Before treatment, ask
  • What’s the total, including the exam and X-rays?
  • How much will my insurance or the dental care plan cover?
  • Does anything cost more than the provincial fee guide?
