Dr. Barrera is originally from Santiago, Chile. She graduated from University Pedro De Valdivia dental school in Chile in 2012. She then received her specialist degree in orthodontics in 2016. She moved to Toronto six years ago. She successfully completed the NDEB exam process in 2018. In doing so, she has acquired her accreditation and license in Canada building on her 6 years of education and residency where she was the top graduate in her class. She has expanded her knowledge and skill sets by taking the Invisalign course in Canada and this has built on her orthodontic work and experience from back home. Dr Barrera enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is excited to offer implant surgery as she has completed the University Toronto Residency program in 2022. She strives to provide the best dental care at Skymark Dental Centre for all patients from young to the elderly in a stress…

Dr. Ricky Kochman grew up in Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1981. He has been serving the community of of North York, Toronto, Thornhill and beyond for 40 years at Skymark Dental Centre . He strives to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere where his patients can be comfortable relaxed and stress free during their dental visits. He is passionate about providing the latest in dental technology to enhance his patients experience. Dr. Kochman is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. His other interests include traveling with his wife, grandchildren, golf and watching his favourite teams the Raptors and the Leafs.
