Dr. Dana Price grew up in south Florida. She attended Tufts University in Boston, MA for her undergraduate degree where she earned a B.A. in music in 2005. She is classically trained on the piano and violin. She also sings and has studied both jazz and contemporary music in addition to writing and recording her own music. She has played, recorded, and toured with a number of Boston-based bands throughout the years. While studying in Ottawa in the early 2010s she studied the carillon under the Dominion Carilloner Dr Andrea McCrady, and has performed in the Peace Tower on a few occasions.
