Think of this common, nonsurgical treatment as a deep cleaning for the insides of your tooth. Our dentist, Dr. Fuad Tanha, will remove the diseased portion of the tooth and then clean and reshape the surrounding root canals. In doing so, he will give your tooth a fresh slate and a second chance. To aid in healing and protecting the treatment site, the area is sealed off with a gutta-percha material. Usually, a temporary crown is placed. As recommended, it is important to revisit our office promptly to restore the tooth with a permanent crown. The crown supports the long-term success of root canal treatment by preventing further damage that could result in the loss or removal of the treated tooth. We ensure comfort at every step of treatment with precise administration of anesthetic. You won’t feel anything but relief when you’re in our dentists competent hands!
