Dr. Chu graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago in 1996. Northwestern is one of the premier dental schools in North America. He then honed his diagnostic and clinical skills at Presidential Dental --a busy downtown cosmetic and family practice in the heart of Chicago's financial district before the returning home to Canada to set up his practice in Barrhaven. He is an active member of the community for over 25 years. Dr. Chu has been representing Ottawa-area dentists in the General Council of the Ontario Dental Association for over 20 years, past president of the Ottawa Dental Society and currently serves as head of the Ottawa Dental Society Mediations Committee. When not cheering on his Senators and Raptors he can be spotted at the gym, cycling, gardening, reading, racing at Calabogie Motorsports Park or in the Kendo dojo. Dr. Chu is proud to be one of the…

In the meantime, Dr. Chu and Dr. Cao are doing their best by taking email enquiries for clinical questions at barrhavendentist@gmail.com, which may be followed up with Facetime consults if necessary. Phones are still answered by a skeleton staff between the hours of 9am-noon during weekdays.
