He was accepted for dentistry at New York University (NYU) in New York City and graduated with honours in 1996. He continued his studies at New York University College of Dentistry in New York City graduating in 1996, with honours. Afterwards he furthered his education and training by spending two years in a residency program at the Montefiore Hospital with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. He returned to Ottawa in 1998 and began private practice in downtown Ottawa, as well as working in Renfrew. She graduated from New York University, College of Dentistry with the honour of the American College of Women Dentists Award for excellence in Academics and Leadership, in 1996. He received his bachelor’s degree with honours in biology and medical science at the University of Western Ontario. He continued his studies, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, also at the University of Western Ontario.
