Dr. Balleza graduated with a Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of the East in Manila, Philippines 1985. She came to Canada in 1994 and successfully passed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada in 1996. March 1997 was an exciting year of opening up a new General dental practice in Surrey, B.C. In the same year Dr. Balleza went to the University of British Columbia for Continuing Dental Education in Basic and Advance Orthodontics, which is a clinical participation course for General practitioner from 1997-2001. In 2003, progress was evident with the opening of a second dental office in Langley, B.C. that inspired Dr. Balleza to expand her practice, while catering to multicultural communities both in Surrey and Langley.
