The cost of periodontal treatment can vary widely depending on the type of condition, its severity, and the length of treatment required.An estimated cost is usually provided during the initial visit. However, in some cases, initialtreatments or further diagnostics may be needed before a full treatment plan—and final cost—can be confirmed.Our approach is to provide the most effective care while being as conservative as possible toachieve your treatment goals.

Many dental insurance plans include coverage for periodontal treatment. Please bring your medical and dental insurance cards and any benefit information to your examination appointment. If you’d like, we can submit a claim to request a pre-determination of yourbenefits—though most insurance plans do not require this step.

Not all patients require surgery. When detected early, gum disease can often be managedwith non-surgical treatments. We’ll recommend the most appropriate approach based on your specific needs. Our goal is always to use the most conservative treatment methods to achieve the best outcomes.

We will need current periodontal x-rays in order to see disease not otherwise visible. If your referring dentist has taken x-rays, you may request that they be forwarded to us.
