Dr. Rebecca Cohen prides herself on providing outstanding dental care through her love for building a trusting and lasting bond with her patients. Her passion for children both motivated her to pursue this rewarding career and continues to push her each and everyday. Dr. Rebecca graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2009. From there, Dr. Rebecca earned her specialization in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Rebecca practiced in California as a specialist for two years before returning home to Canada in 2013 and has been working as a pediatric specialist in private practice ever since. Dr. Brandon Linaksita is a Canadian board-certified specialist in pediatric dentistry and a fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Brandon is a Toronto-native, obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Western University, and completed a one-year pediatric-focused residency at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). He then moved to New York City and completed a specialization in Pediatric Dentistry at The Mount Sinai Hospital where he served as Chief Resident while concurrently pursuing a Masters in Public Health at Brown University. Dr. Leslie Chu obtained her Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from Western University and attended New York University College of Dentistry. She was awarded the Dean’s Award for International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award for her significant leadership and exemplary character traits when participating in humanitarian service or projects. Dr. Chu worked as a general dentist in a pediatric practice in Toronto for several years before obtaining her specialty training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Rochester – Eastman Institute for Oral Health with the goal of providing compassionate care to all children. She devotes her time to serving both the local and global community and is passionate about helping the underserved. Dr. Ibtisam Al Riyami (Ibti) is a craniofacial orthodontist with specialized expertise in the care of patients with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, and complex medical conditions. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2013, followed by a hospital internship and two years as a general dentist. In 2018, she completed her specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Alberta. Driven by her passion for craniofacial care, Dr. Al Riyami then pursued a one-year craniofacial orthodontic fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto—one of the world’s leading paediatric craniofacial centers. She later joined the SickKids team as part-time staff, contributing to interdisciplinary care for children with complex needs.
