You may not consume any food or drinks for eight (8) hours prior to the procedure. No smoking of any kind for at least 12 hours prior to your procedure. No smoking of cannabis and cannabis containing products for at least 48 hours prior to the procedure. A responsible adult (over the age of 18) needs to accompany the patient to the appointment, stay either in the office or in their car (during COVID-19 pandemic), and accompany the patient home following the procedure. You may not drive a vehicle or operate any machinery for 24 hours following receiving general anesthesia (or IV sedation). Please wear loose fitting clothing with sleeves which can be rolled up past the elbow, and low-heeled shoes.
