Dr. Vi Pham is a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. She holds membership with the Academy of General Dentists, the Ontario Dental Association and is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Throughout her studies, she has been awarded multiple accolades and has an excitement for research. Dr. Pham’s experience with the Royal Flying Doctor Service during her clinical studies has inspired her love for community health as she provided dental care and education to remote areas in Northern New South Wales through the TOOTH program (The Outback Oral Health and Treatment). Dr. Lasky earned her Bachelor of Science with an Honors Specialization in Psychology from Western University before obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the NYU College of Dentistry. She then completed a one-year residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she treated medically complex patients and served as an on-call dentist for oral-facial traumas. Passionate about providing patient-centered care, Dr. Lasky strives to create a comfortable and positive experience for her patients. Dr. Lasky was born in Mexico City and grew up speaking Spanish at home. Outside of dentistry, she loves animals (golden retrievers in particular), reading, music, and drawing — and she’s slowly learning to become a better cook (recipe suggestions are always welcome!

Dr. Seema Shah joined Word of Mouth Dentistry in January 2022 bringing close to 20 years of dental experience into our dental clinic. Her calm personality, caring chairside manner and sophisticated British accent is a delight for our dental patients. She is passionate about dentistry because she truly looks out for the wellbeing of her patients and makes them her priority. Dr. Shah graduated from the University of London, England in 2001 and went on to complete her MFDS of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003. She practiced dentistry in England for 4 years until moving to Dubai where she continued to practice for several years. In 2008 Dr. Shah settled in Toronto with her husband and children. She is a proud mom to two amazing, athletic boys.

Dr. Dina Zahedi is our in-house periodontist and began working with us in March 2022. Her dental specialty focuses on the prevention, diagnoses, and maintenance of periodontal disease. Her treatments offered are dental implants, soft-tissue grafting, non-surgical treatments (scaling & root planning), regenerative procedures (bone grafting), both crown and esthetic gum lengthening as well as extractions and biopsy’s. Dr. Dina obtained her Bachelor of Science with honours in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery and specialty certificate in Periodontology from New York University. Dr. Dina is also a part-time instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry.
