Dr. Charmaine Fong Dr. Fong earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of British Columbia in 1993. With over three decades of experience, she has built a strong foundation in general dentistry, with particular interest in periodontics and cosmetic dentistry. She has further refined her skills through participation in two Crown and Bridge Study Clubs and as a past member of the Vancouver Perio-Prosth Study Club. Deeply committed to giving back, Dr. Fong has volunteered her dental expertise in underserved communities, including outreach missions to Costa Rica and, more recently, Guatemala. Closer to home, she has shared her knowledge by speaking to preschool and elementary school students about oral health, fostering early awareness and prevention. Dr. Bains received his Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D.) at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Possessing a passion for lifelong learning and community involvement, Dr Bains was involved in externships, internships, coaching, and community outreach clinics while at university. At UBC, he was selected to participate in an oral surgery elective to expand his knowledge and skills. To further that training, Dr. Bains completed hands-on oral surgery externships at Harvard University – Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and at the University of the Pacific – Highland Hospital in Oakland. Dr. Lawrence Lai obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University in 1995. His interest in interacting with people at a more personal level has driven him to pursue a dental career in health care. In 1997, he entered the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University. In 2001, as a dentist, he moved to Calgary to start his general practice in dentistry. Currently, Dr Lai is licensed to practice dentistry under the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and Alberta Dental Association and College. Dr. Jung (or “Dr. Lina” to the kids) graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Honors, from the University of Toronto in 1997, after a degree in Microbiology from UBC, and was awarded top prizes in Oral Medicine and Orthodontics. She then completed the UBC General Practice Residency Program, with advanced training for medically complex patients at VGH, BC Children’s Hospital, and the BC Cancer Agency. Dr. Malekian graduated from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Tehran/Iran as a doctor of dental surgery. She owned a private dental clinic in Tehran before immigrating to Canada in 2013 and has over 15 years of clinical experience in all aspects of dentistry. She passed The National Dental Board exams of Canada and got her dentistry license in 2017. Dr.Malekian has a passion for continuing education in dentistry. She has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in implant dentistry, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kevin Wong received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University in 2011. Upon graduation, he pursued his dental studies at the University of Southern California, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2015. Passionate about education and learning, Dr. Wong has completed countless hours of continuing education and advanced training, including areas such as orthodontics, Invisalign, and clear aligner therapy. He continually strives to find improved ways to enhance the oral health and dental experiences of his patients. Dr. Wong enjoys the meticulous aspect of dental work, paying close attention to detail to provide the most aesthetic and the best quality of work to his patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wong enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Seiko Lee graduated from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry in 2001, where she was on the Dean’s Honor List. In school, she was chosen to be a part of the Anesthesiology Team, Emergency Medical Team, CPR Instructor, and tutor. Dr. Lee is currently a clinical instructor for CDI College in Burnaby as well as teaching part-time for the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. She is involved in numerous study clubs that include implants, esthetics, and periodontics. Dr. Lee enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her patients and offers IV Sedation for her highly anxious patients. Aside from English, Dr. Seiko Lee speaks Japanese and conversational Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting family, friends, and culinary delights.

Dr. Hsu was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 8 years old. He grew up in Langley, B.C., and later moved to Vancouver to complete his degree in Biochemistry and Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Hsu enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but most of all, he enjoys the people. He strives to practice patient-centered dentistry, where patient comfort and effective communication are of the priority. He also enrolls himself in study clubs to ensure he can provide every patient with the best possible care. In his spare time, Dr.Hsu loves a good match of tennis. He also enjoys spending time with his family and taking his dog Toffee out for a stroll.

Dr. Kazemi graduated from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences with a doctoral degree in dental medicine. He is a Certified member of National Dental Examining Board of Canada. He completed practical and academic courses of orthodontic dentistry based on MBT system at the University of Tehran. He is trained on in using laser devices as well as Oral implant based on Medical Titanium Implant System at the University of Geneva/Switzerland. Dr. Kazemi was a Dental associate in the Northern Alberta for two years before He decided to relocate to Vancouver. Dr. Kazemi loves music, art and dedicates his spare time to activities, such as photography, hiking, biking, and swimming.

Dr. Vineyard Choy is a graduate of the UBC Dental School who has owned two practices on the Sunshine Coast. He is an experienced GP dentist who has taken many postgraduate courses in aesthetic dentistry, as well as extra training in Root Canal Therapy and Invisalign (invisible-braces). Dr. Choy takes pride in providing his patients with dental care with a soft touch, using the latest 21st Century technologies at the Aarm Dental Group. Dr. Choy is a West-End resident who regularly runs around the Seawall and has run several marathons. Any other free time is spent raising his daughter. He has been to Venezuela and Ecuador providing dentistry to the less privileged.

Dr.Vijaya Kolla, Bachelor of Dental Surgeon is very empathetic, a good listener, and gentle to patients. She worked as an associate dentist in the lower mainland including Aarm for two years and then decided to join Aarm dental family. She enjoys the art of dentistry by enhancing patients’ smiles and function. Dr.Kolla’s main focus in dentistry is Preventative, Restorative, Full mouth rehabilitation, and Emergency dental procedures.
