Camellia was born and raised in Richmond, and attended the University of British Columbia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology and Genetics before pursuing her studies in Dentistry. Upon completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UBC, she received the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics award for achieving outstanding proficiency in crown and bridge work. While studying pharmaceutical sciences at the University of British Columbia, she realized dentistry was her calling and switched to completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Yu was born in Hong Kong and moved to Montreal in 1990. In 1991, he relocated to Vancouver and called it home. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UBC in 2005, and he has been practicing general dentistry since. Currently, Dr. Yu is also a sessional clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia. He continues to attend continued education with interests in endodontics, oral surgery, and implantology.
