Dr. Sam is known for his friendly disposition and his ability to put patients at ease. Though born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Sam went to the University of British Columbia after high school on a full scholarship and spent all 8 years of his university career there. After achieving his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 2004, he practiced in South Surrey until he decided to open this practice in Vancouver. He is extremely committed to continuously advancing his dental knowledge, and is a member of multiple dental study clubs. He also travels internationally yearly to attend courses in all topics of dentistry. In addition, he enjoys teaching and is a part time clinical instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sam likes to spend time with his wife and two young sons. He enjoys staying active by skiing and snowboarding…

Dr. Martinez was born and raised in Vancouver where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Her passion for dentistry took her to Australia where she obtained her dental degree at the University of Sydney in 2014, graduating with Honours. She then worked for 2 years at Sydney Dental Hospital as an Endodontic Resident prior to returning home to practice in Vancouver. She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and is committed to providing quality, patient-centred care to the highest technical standards, while maintaining compassion and warmth that ensures patients are relaxed and comfortable. Outside of work Dr. Martinez enjoys travelling, hiking, fitness classes and yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
