Their FAQ
Answers from their website.
Can I get a same-day emergency appointment in Yaletown?
We keep time in our daily schedule for urgent care and do our best to see patients in pain the same day. Call 604-801-6669 as early as you can so we can fit you in.
What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?
Hold it by the crown, rinse gently, and try to place it back in the socket. If you cannot, keep it in milk and see us within 30 to 60 minutes for the best chance of saving it.
How much does an emergency dental visit cost?
It depends on the treatment, and fees follow the BC Dental Association Fee Guide. You will get a clear estimate before any work begins.
Do you treat new patients for emergencies?
Yes. You do not need to be an existing patient. Call 604-801-6669 and we will get you in.
What can I do for severe tooth pain at night?
Rinse with warm salt water, gently floss around the sore tooth, and take over-the-counter pain relief as directed. A cold compress helps with swelling. Call us first thing so we can see you.
What is the difference between oral and IV sedation?
Oral sedation is a tablet you take before your visit that keeps you calm and relaxed while you stay awake. IV sedation is given through a vein for a deeper, more adjustable level of relaxation, and most patients remember little about the appointment. We will help you choose the option that suits your anxiety level and treatment.
Is sedation dentistry safe?
Yes. Sedation dentistry is very safe when it is provided by trained professionals. We review your health history first, tailor the sedation to you, and monitor you throughout your appointment. Our sedation is provided by our sedation-certified dentist under strict safety protocols.
Will I be asleep during my treatment?
It depends on the level of sedation. With oral sedation you stay relaxed but awake, while with IV sedation most patients feel as though they slept and remember little about the visit. You are closely monitored the entire time and can be roused if needed.
