When should children first see a dentist?
Once the first tooth appears we recommend booking their first visit, or by the time they are 1.
What causes bad breath?
Bad breath (“halitosis”) can be caused by lack of moisture, low salivary flow, poor oral health, and bacteria interaction.
How often should I visit dentist for a dental checkup?
We recommend a dental checkup at least once or twice a year.
How can my cracked tooth be fixed?
Many oral problems won’t show their symptoms until they have progressed to more advanced stages. By the time your tooth starts to hurt, the cavity has already compromised layers of your tooth to cause inflammation or infection.
What happens if a veneer falls off or breaks?
If one breaks, you should visit your dentist immediately to have it replaced or rebonded to protect the tooth.
Do veneers feel different than my real teeth?
Most patients find it feels very natural, though it may take a few days for their tongue to get used to it.
Are there alternatives if I want something reversible?
Composite bonding or professional whitening are options that do not require removing enamel, making them much easier to change later.
