Dr. Marty Greenfeld graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry. Prior to establishing his current practice in North Kildonan, he worked with the City of Winnipeg Dental Services in schools providing dental work to children. Throughout his career he has enjoyed practicing Dentistry and providing services for children and adults. He continues to see patients of all ages and remains committed to providing best care services for all his patients. He considers his longtime staff and patients akin to that of extended family members, which inspires his diligent efforts to provide a supportive and encouraging work environment. Dr. Marty has volunteered for a variety of Manitoba Dental Association committees throughout his career. Dr. Tracy Martinez was born and raised in North Kildonan in Winnipeg, and still lives in the area with her husband and her three children. She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba in 2010. For the first eight years of her career, she worked as a dentist in the Transcona area. In September of 2018, she came to River East Dental Centre, purchasing Dr. Nickel’s longstanding practice, and is thrilled to be working with the awesome team here. Dr. Tracy loves dentistry because it is both challenging and rewarding, and being able to help her patients smile bigger and brighter is a privilege. She strives to better herself through continuing education, and belongs to a local chapter of a Spear Study Club. Dr. Robert Nickel was born and raised in the Elmwood area of Winnipeg. Upon graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba in 1976, he practiced for 13 years in the East Kildonan area. He then relocated to North Kildonan in 1988, joining Dr. Marty Greenfeld at River East Dental Centre. Dr. Nickel loves the art and science involved in the practice of dentistry. He believes that prevention is the key to best servicing his patients. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, learning by continuing education through study clubs, lectures, and reading. Dr. Nickel, though not fully fluent in German, has served his many German speaking patients in their first language throughout the years. Outside of dentistry he has many interests including gardening, fishing, stain glass art, building furniture, travel, and singing in the church choir. Now semi-retired, he appreciates the…
