Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

Can you explain how much time is required for dental implant surgery?

Tooth extraction takes 15 to 20 minutes. After giving time to heal and grafting the bone, which is almost 2 to 3 months, the implant is placed within 1 to 2 hours. After placing the implant there is another healing phase that varies from 2 to 5 months. All these steps are followed by the crown placement, which takes 1 hour. The complete procedure generally takes approximately 6 to 9 months, including healing period.

Is having dental implant surgery painful?

During the surgery, the nerves are numbed so that the patient does not feel any kind of pain, but sometimes the patient feels a little pressure that can cause slight discomfort. In some cases, pain can be experienced for up to 7 days after the surgery.

Do we need to remove dental implants after a particular time?

Before installing a permanent implant, a temporary implant is placed. After some time the temporary implant is replaced by a permanent implant which is not required to be removed or changed.

What are the benefits of having a tooth implant surgery?

Some of the benefits of getting dental implants include the prevention of gum infections that can be caused by the missing tooth gap, implants can also help in stabilizing the teeth near them and they also help to avoid the sagging of the face.

How long does it take to recover from dental implant surgery?

The approximate time required for healing after the surgery varies from 3 to 6 months.

Do I need a regular checkup?

It is important to have a regular check-up and cleaning of your teeth after implant placement to avoid infection. Special instruments are used to clean the area around implants. Apart from this, regular care at home helps to remove bacterial biofilm from the implant site.
