Dr. Nellie Trinh was born in Vietnam in 1971. She immigrated to Vancouver, BC in 1979, attended UBC for undergrad studies (1989-1993), then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry in 1997. She is the founder of Apex Dental Clinic and practices general dentistry with an emphasis in orthodontics. She prioritizes patient education for prevention and takes great care to ensure each patient's dental experience is comfortable and positive. She is fluent in English and conversational in Vietnamese. Beyond the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, baking, and dragon boating. Dr. Michael Chan was born in Hong Kong in 1970. He immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta in 1983, did his undergrad studies at the University of Alberta (1989-1993) and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from its Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry in 1997. He enjoys practicing in all aspects of general dentistry and developing a rapport with each patient. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and conversational in Mandarin. Having grown up in Edmonton, he loves hockey and still enjoys playing recreational hockey.
