Dr. Hong Cheung grew up in Winnipeg and relocated to Calgary in the summer of 2023. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Manitoba in 2016 and has been practicing general dentistry ever since. Dr. Cheung is skilled across all areas of general dentistry, with a special focus on understanding each patient’s personal dental needs. He believes in clear communication and collaborative care to help patients achieve healthy, lasting results—especially in urgent situations. Outside of work, Dr. Cheung’s time is joyfully filled by his 4-year-old son, who keeps him entertained with stories about Paw Patrol and Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Dr. Arash is the proud owner of our practice and a dedicated general dentist with extensive experience in emergency and comprehensive dental care. Born in Iran, he moved to Calgary at the age of 10. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta in 2014. Dr. Arash has advanced knowledge in restorative dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, including Invisalign, and pediatric dentistry. In emergencies, he focuses on quickly diagnosing the problem and delivering practical, patient-centred solutions. Outside the clinic, Dr. Arash enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and travelling. Some of his favourite destinations include Thailand, Costa Rica, Mexico City, and Iran.

Dr. Shelley Tang is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she first developed her passion for dentistry. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2018 and is highly skilled in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Tang joined Inglewood Family Dental Calgary in February 2020, bringing her dedication, gentle approach, and strong clinical expertise to our emergency team. She is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and informed, especially during urgent dental visits. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tang is an avid baker. Although her busy schedule and energetic toddler keep her on her toes, she enjoys every opportunity to create delicious treats for family and friends.

Dr. Mitul Manek combines clinical expertise with a calm, reassuring presence to make every visit comfortable and stress‐free. He focuses on preventive care and patient education, empowering individuals to take control of their oral health. Patients appreciate his thoughtful communication, gentle approach, and commitment to long‐term dental wellness. Dr. Olivia Bolen grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2023. After completing her dental degree, she moved to Calgary—a city she has always loved. Dr. Bolen is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care. She takes pride in helping patients feel at ease during emergency visits and carefully tailors each treatment plan to individual needs. When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Bolen enjoys running, spending time outdoors, and making meaningful memories with her friends and family.

Dr. David DeSantis is a dedicated general dentist originally from Mississauga, Ontario. After earning his dental degree from the University of British Columbia in 2019, he moved to Calgary with his now‐fiancée and proudly calls the city home. Dr. DeSantis practices all areas of general dentistry with a focus on quality, honest care — including restorative treatments such as bridges, fillings, root canals, crowns, and extractions. Known for his friendly approach and commitment to patient comfort, Dr. DeSantis works to make every visit as stress‐free and positive as possible — especially during urgent dental situations.
