What are nylon clasps for dentures?
These clasps are crafted with thermoplastic nylon resin instead of acrylic (which is used in traditional dentures). Nylon clasps make for more durable and comfortable dentures that can also withstand more impact.
Can I get dentures if I have an acrylic allergy?
Absolutely. If traditional dentures made with acrylic won’t work for you, nylon clasp dentures prove to be an excellent alternative!
What is the Myoloc System™?
This patented system uses two adjustable “wings” that extend bilaterally from the lingual surface of a new or existing denture. Then, your tongue can rest on the extensions, which helps counterbalance the muscular forces that would normally dislodge the prosthesis.
How many teeth are in full dentures?
A full set of natural adult teeth includes 32 teeth, but your dentures won’t necessarily have this many teeth. Complete dentures will have at least 20 teeth to maintain the proper form and function of your jaw and also making it easier to chew and speak.
What is the warranty for my dentures?
Warranties vary from different denture providers. At Northmount Denture Clinic in Calgary, we offer the following warranties:nn- Replacement dentures, repairs: one year.n- New denture follow-up adjustments: 90 days.n- Relines/repairs follow-ups: 30 days.
