GENERAL DENTIST Dr. Neves completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University Of Alberta in 2007. He realized his passion for Dentistry when he took his niece for an emergency dental treatment and was blown away at how efficiently and relatively quickly the dentist was able to take her out of severe pain. At the time, he was working as a nurse in Neuro ICU at the University of Alberta Hospital and was considering Medical School but ultimately decided on Dentistry because he wanted to be able to provide immediate care and relief for patients. Dr. Neves is a proud member of the Alberta Dental Association, as well as the Canadian Dental Association. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education with organizations such as C.L.E.A.R, AACA, KOIS, LVI and many more. GENERAL DENTIST Dr. Amarvir Pahal (Amar) graduated from the University of Queensland in Australia, and has moved back to Canada with a focus on delivering exceptional, patient centered dental care. Amar is dedicated to providing a comfortable and anxiety-free experience for his patients while addressing their primary dental concerns. His commitment to excellence and his gentle approach ensures that every patient receives the highest level of care. A proud member of the Alberta Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association, Dr. Pahal continually seeks to enhance his skills and knowledge to better serve his patients. GENERAL DENTIST Dr. Faisal Kassam completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary in 2003, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 2007. He brings close to twenty years of clinical experience to Smile Studio, along with a straightforward belief that good dentistry starts with listening to the person in the chair. Faisal has spent his career building calm, well-run practices where patients feel looked after from the front desk through to the operatory. He continues to pursue advanced education so the care he provides keeps pace with what is possible, and he takes particular satisfaction in the confidence a healthy smile gives someone. Outside of the clinic, Faisal spends his time with family and travels whenever he can. He stays active year round on the golf course, the soccer pitch, the ski hill and the hiking trail.
