Their FAQ
Answers from their website.
What should I do if my braces wire is poking my cheek?
You may place orthodontic wax over the sharp area to reduce irritation until your appointment. Avoid cutting the wire yourself unless instructed by your orthodontist.
Is a broken bracket always an emergency?
Not always. Some broken brackets can wait for a scheduled visit if they are not causing pain or affecting the braces heavily.
What helps reduce orthodontic pain at home?
Cold compresses, salt water rinses, soft foods, and orthodontic wax may help reduce mild discomfort.
What should I do if I lose an Invisalign aligner?
Contact your orthodontist as soon as possible. You may be advised to wear your previous aligner or move to the next set temporarily.
How do I clean my night guard?
You should rinse your guard with cool water every morning and brush it gently with a soft toothbrush. Avoid using hot water, as it can warp the material and change how it fits your teeth.
How long does a custom guard typically last?
Depending on how heavy your grinding is, a professional guard can last between three and five years. Regular check-ups with your provider will ensure it is still fitting correctly and doing its job.
Can a night guard change my bite?
A professionally made guard is designed to maintain your current bite while protecting it. If you feel like your teeth are meeting differently during the day, you should have your provider adjust the appliance for a better fit.
Will a night guard stop me from snoring?
Some guards are made for snoring, but a standard TMJ guard is meant for your teeth and muscles. Nonetheless, numerous individuals discover enhanced breathing when their jaw is kept in a more natural, open posture.
