Does Uxbridge direct bill CDCP?
Yes. Uxbridge direct bills Sun Life for eligible CDCP services. You remain responsible for any applicable amount not paid by CDCP.
Will CDCP cover 100% of my dental treatment?
Not necessarily. CDCP does not always mean your entire dental bill will be covered. Co-payments, fee differences, plan limits, and non-covered services can leave a patient portion.
Why might I still have to pay something?
A balance may remain because of your CDCP co-payment level, differences between clinic fees and CDCP-recognized amounts, services or portions that are not covered, or plan requirements such as preauthorization.
What dental services does CDCP cover?
CDCP may help pay for eligible services across categories such as exams, preventive care, restorative care, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Coverage depends on current program rules and your individual plan. See official Canada.ca resources for detailed benefit information.
Do some treatments require preauthorization?
Yes. Some services may require preauthorization before coverage can be confirmed. Estimates or preauthorization can help clarify expected coverage before planned treatment, but approval does not guarantee every dollar of the provider fee will be paid.

How do I check whether my CDCP coverage is active?
Use official Government of Canada or Sun Life CDCP member resources to confirm eligibility, renewal, and coverage status. Uxbridge does not determine CDCP eligibility.
Can Uxbridge tell me exactly what CDCP will pay before treatment?
We can help review available coverage information and submit estimates or preauthorization where appropriate. Final coverage depends on CDCP rules in effect when care is processed, so an estimate is not a guarantee of final payment.
