How do I book an appointment at Woodcreek Dental?
You can book an appointment by calling our office at (403) 238-2872 or by using the online booking form on our website. We welcome both new and returning patients and offer flexible appointment times to suit your schedule.
Am I a good candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with good general health and adequate jawbone density are candidates for dental implants. People who smoke or have conditions like uncontrolled diabetes may need to address those factors first. The best way to find out is with a free consultation at Woodcreek Dental Care — we'll assess your bone structure and overall oral health to give you a clear answer.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last 20 to 30 years or even a lifetime. The implant post itself is made from titanium, which fuses permanently with the jawbone. The crown on top typically lasts 10 to 15 years before it may need to be replaced due to normal wear.
Is the dental implant procedure painful?
The procedure is performed under local anesthetic, so you won't feel pain during treatment. Most patients report that the discomfort afterward is milder than they expected — similar to a tooth extraction. If you experience dental anxiety, we also offer sedation dentistry options to keep you comfortable throughout.
