General Dentist Dr. Aaron Rai is the new dental provider at CGS Dentistry. Raised in New Westminster, he had the opportunity to learn about the dental industry through his mother, who has been a professional in the field for over 40 years. This early exposure inspired him to pursue dentistry as his lifelong career path. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Simon Fraser University (SFU), Dr. Rai studied abroad in Poland, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2019. He later became qualified as a dentist in Ireland, where he gained valuable clinical experience treating patients and engaging with the local culture. Upon returning to Canada, he successfully completed his final national board examinations in November 2025 and obtained his full license in January 2026. General Dentist Dr. Jugdev Gill was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (with Distinction) in Biomedical Physiology from Simon Fraser University. He then went on to attend the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Gill is very excited to join the amazing staff at CGS Dentistry, and is eager to continue to provide the same standard of care patients have been accustomed to in the practice’s long and storied history. He places a tremendous amount of value on ethical and evidence based dentistry, and keeps up to date with all of the recent dental literature to ensure patients well being.
