Originally, Campus Dental was established as Teeth For Life in 2003 by founder, Marcy Skribe, RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist). Initially started as a sport mouthguard service, we specialized specifically in custom-fit sport mouthguards. Marcy put on mouthguard clinics throughout the GTA. In later years, she expanded into tooth whitening to connect to an even broader client base. During this time, Marcy also maintained her dental hygiene skills in general practice. Prior to the start-up of Campus Dental, Marcy worked in general practice dentistry for more than 10 years and in that time, was involved in the GTA community through volunteer work and coaching. She coached at the community college varsity level for 8+ years. She also spent a year teaching dental hygiene where she was able to pass on her experience to future hygienists. Dr. Amanda Trotti is a native New Yorker who graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2003. She emigrated to Canada in 2006, became a Canadian citizen in 2010, and hasn’t looked back! Dr. Trotti, affectionately known as “Dr. T,” enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially surgery and root canal therapy, and aims to make all experiences pain-free and enjoyable. She strives for excellence in her clinical practice; she is an active member in the Ontario Dental Association and is committed to continuing dental education. Her long term career goals include teaching and pursuing her long-time interest in forensic odontology. When not fixing teeth, Dr. T can easily be found baking, at a hot yoga class, training for a marathon, or chasing her two (very active) children. Show more
