He completed his doctorate degree and his residency training in periodontology at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Ghiabi serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He is the past president of the Atlantic Society of Periodontology and the past director of the graduate periodontics program at Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry. Pediatric Dentist Dr. Negin Ghiabi is a board certified pediatric dentist. She received her education in pediatric dentistry from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Both a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Ghiabi practiced pediatric dentistry in the United States for several years before moving to Nova Scotia in 2008.
