DDS, MS, FRCD (C) Our resident orthodontist, Dr. Bruce Oliver, has been creating smiles for his patients for over 20 years. He obtained a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at McGill University in addition to a Masters of Science and Specialty in Orthodontics from the State University Of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Oliver certified by Invisalign, provides aligner therapy since 2000, as well as traditional metal braces. Passionate about teaching and research, Dr. Oliver authored numerous scientific papers, presenting patient treatments to conferences at International, National, State and Provincial orthodontic conventions. His research has led to a patent of an intraoral orthodontic appliance for molar correction. His greatest joy is interacting with his patients explaining various orthodontic treatment possibilities to improve their natural smile.

Born and raised in the Okanagan and a Rutland Senior Secondary graduate, Dr. Parveet Dhillion takes great pride in delivering the highest standard of care to her patients. Alongside her husband, Dr. Romey, and her brother-in-law, Dr. Ramsey, she considers it a privilege to provide clinical care to the community where she grew up. Dr. Parveet earned her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Medical Biochemistry, at UBC Okanagan. She then pursued her doctorate of dental medicine at UBC Vancouver. Following graduation, she worked alongside Dr. Romey in various rural communities, gaining valuable experience. Dr. Parveet practices all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in working with children and providing botox treatments for adults with TMJ issues. With a commitment to delivering the highest standard of dental care, Dr. Ramsey creates a calm, social, and welcoming environment for his patients. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Medical Biochemistry, at UBC Okanagan. Pursuing his passion for dentistry, Dr. Ramsey obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry in New York City. During his time in Manhattan, he honed his skills in general dentistry and embraced the opportunities of the vibrant city. Dr. Saba Shakeri, born and raised in Victoria, is honored to call Kelowna home. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Saba’s journey in dentistry led him to meet Dr. Ramsey, Dr. Romey, and Dr. Parveet during dental school. Together, they decided to join forces and open Orchard Smiles. Driven by his vision of patient-centered care, Dr. Saba is dedicated to providing the highest standard of dental care to his patients. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of general dentistry services, and he has a special interest in treating sleep apnea. Dr. Saba’s commitment to ongoing education allows him to continually enhance his knowledge and skills. Fluent in English and Farsi, he ensures effective communication with his patients.
