Who Performs Your Wisdom Tooth Extraction Wisdom tooth extractions at Eglinton Oak Dental are performed in-house by Dr. Sahil Gagnani, DMD, our general dentist with dedicated surgical training in impacted and third-molar extractions. Many general dental offices refer every impacted case out to a specialist; because Dr. Gagnani has that surgical background, most of our patients — including impacted cases — can be treated comfortably right here, without an extra referral visit. The rare, most complex cases are still referred to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon when that is genuinely the safer path, and we will always tell you honestly if yours is one of them.
