Meet The Dentist Dr. Tarun Dass General Dentist, Practice Limited to Orthodontics Only Dr. Tarun Dass completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Dalhousie University, Halifax and has been practicing in Vancouver since 2016. Before making Canada his home, he did a Masters in Orthodontics (MDS) and practiced as a specialist in India. With his extensive training and many years of experience, he has limited his general practice to provide orthodontic care. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Indian Association of Orthodontics and World Federation of Orthodontics. He has recently competed a Mini-residency in Orthodontics from University of Washington, Seattle and continues to develop his skills by being part of the Advanced Orthodontics study club for general practitioners at the University of British Columbia. Meet The Dentist Dr. Bruce Ward General Dentist Dr. Bruce Ward has been providing compassionate, high-quality dental care for nearly five decades. Originally from Granby, Quebec, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University in 1976. Following graduation, he practiced in Bermuda for a year, where he met his wife, Karin, before relocating to North Vancouver in 1978. In 1985, Dr. Ward partnered with two of his McGill classmates to purchase a dental practice in Coquitlam, where he practiced for more than 20 years. In 2008, he returned to the North Shore, where he has continued to provide exceptional dental care to the community. Dr. Ward currently practices two days a week, allowing him to dedicate significant time to volunteer service and professional leadership. Meet The Dentist Dr. Christine Collison General Dentist Dr. Christine Collison grew up on the east coast of the United States and received her undergraduate degree in Biology in Baltimore, Maryland. During the next 8 years she worked as a research assistant studying animal behavior while pursuing a Masters Degree in Psych-Administration followed by her Doctorate in Dentistry. She was able to work in research while in dental school at the National institute of Dental Research located at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda Maryland and landed an academic job in the Pediatric department of the University of Maryland Dental School upon graduation. She worked one year as a Research Associate in the Pediatric department for Proctor and Gamble on a fluoride research study and as a part time instructor in Pediatric Dentistry before immigrating to Canada. Meet The Dentist Dr. Nazanin Gerami General Dentist Dr. Nazanin Gerami (Dr. Naz) is a general dentist passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care. A former member of Iran’s National Elites Foundation, she earned admission to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, one of the country’s leading dental schools, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She later completed the Canadian dental licensing process and is proud to serve patients in British Columbia.
