1941 - 2024 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Melvyn Kay, on June 15, 2024. Dr. Melvyn Allan Kay, my father, was a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in both the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Program and the post-graduate specialty program in Paediatric Dentistry (Dip. Paedo). His experience and background included general dentistry and his area of specialization for more than 50 years was dentistry for infants, children and adolescents. He also had extensive experience in dental treatment for special needs patients of all ages and expertise in behaviour modification and management in the dental environment. Welcome our New Pediatric Dentist - Dr. Leila Dr. Leila Raziee got her DDS degree from Iran. After working for two years as a general dentist, she realized her passion for working with children. Following a three-year Masters program in Pediatric Dentistry in Iran, she practiced for seven years as a pediatric dentist there. After coming to Canada, she completed a three-year program to obtain her MSc in Pediatric Dentistry and is a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. We provide general and cosmetic dentistry for adults and children, orthodontic specialty care, digital imaging, and sedation dentistry using nitrous oxide or computerized anesthetic.
Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
Yes. We offer sedation techniques, including nitrous oxide 'laughing gas' and computerized local anesthetic, to help patients manage dental anxiety.
