How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Most patients complete Invisalign treatment in 6 to 18 months, depending on the complexity of their alignment correction. Mild cases may be resolved in as little as 6 months, while more complex bite corrections may take up to 18 months. Dr. Mohi provides an accurate timeline estimate at the consultation based on your 3D digital scan.
Is Invisalign painful?
Invisalign causes mild pressure when you switch to a new set of aligners, which is a normal sign that your teeth are moving. Most patients find this significantly more comfortable than metal braces. The sensation typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours of switching to a new aligner set.
