Dr. Babahami received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Baghdad and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Western University. He has been in private practice for over six years and each day is thankful for his career choice.

Surgical & Implant Dentistry In 2019, Dr. Tehrani obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Toronto. He received the Joseph Harker Johnson Scholarship award for the most outstanding student in Clinical Oral Surgery and Anesthesia. He was also awarded membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honour society. Dr. Tehrani is currently a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). With an immense passion towards surgery, Dr. Tehrani was accepted into McGill’s Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Internship program upon completion of his dental degree. He also received training in facial trauma including but not limited to facial lacerations and managing complications. I appreciate serving a diverse community and spending my days with people of all ages from all walks of life. It is an honour to share in people’s lives, learning about their experiences, families, dreams, and all that makes them an individual, while at the same time helping people be healthier and happier. Whether I am providing an encouraging first visit to a child, alleviating a parent’s dental pain, or restoring a grandparent’s ability to eat the food they love, my focus is always on what is best for that person. By really listening to them, and walking them through their treatment, I am able to remove a lot of fear of a dental procedure. Dental Director Dr. Rupa Bhatt was born and raised in Ottawa. She attended McGill University for undergraduate studies before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto in 2010. She went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of California – Los Angeles in 2011. Since 2011 Dr. Bhatt has been working as a general dentist, committed to providing the best of care to all her patients. She continues to stay updated with the latest technology and continuing education courses. Her dental philosophy is focused on prevention, education and quality of patient care. Her compassionate and gentle approach is an important part of her practice today. Outside of dentistry she enjoys travelling, art, fashion and exploring the city with her friends and family
