Background and Credentials Dr. Steve Kozomara holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors in Biotechnology, followed by his dental degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney in Australia. He practiced in Australia for 7 years and returned to Canada to complete his Specialty training in Periodontology at the University of British Columbia. He received his Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and was awarded the Nobel Biocare Excellence in Surgery award and associated grant during his residency. Furthermore, Dr. Kozomara received the Doctor of Dental Medicine Teaching Award for his work with the undergraduate dentistry program at UBC in 2018.
