Is cold sensitivity always a cavity?
No. It may be related to enamel wear, gum recession, a crack, grinding or recent dental treatment, but a cavity is one possible cause.
How long should I wait before seeing a dentist for tooth pain?
If your pain is severe, getting worse, or accompanied by swelling or fever, you should contact a dentist as soon as possible. Even mild sensitivity that keeps returning should be checked rather than ignored.
Can a cracked tooth heal by itself?
A cracked tooth does not heal like a bone. Early assessment may improve the chance of protecting the remaining tooth structure.
What should I do if my face is swollen?
Contact your dentist immediately. If the swelling affects your breathing or swallowing, seek emergency medical care right away.
How long does Invisalign take?
