Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan in Oshawa?
Yes. Simcoe Smile Dental accepts the CDCP and bills Sun Life directly. Call (289) 312-1482 and we'll verify your coverage for free before your appointment.
Is everything free with the CDCP?
Not always. Depending on your income, you may have a co-payment of 0%, 40%, or 60%, and CDCP fees can be lower than standard Ontario dental fees, leaving a small difference. We always provide a written estimate before treatment so you know your exact cost.
Can I use the CDCP for a dental emergency?
Yes. Emergency exams, X-rays, and many urgent treatments such as extractions are covered services. We offer same-day emergency appointments — call us first and we'll confirm your CDCP coverage while you're on your way.
I missed the CDCP renewal deadline. Can I still get coverage?
