Après avoir pratiqué la dentisterie générale pendant quelques années, le docteur Alsayouti a été accepté dans un programme de résidence en orthodontie, obtenant une médaille d'argent en orthodontie. Depuis qu'il a déménagé à Ottawa en 2015, il a travaillé avec diligence avec le Bureau national d'examen dentaire du Canada pour obtenir son certificat de compétence canadien.
