General Dentist Dr. Bennie Chan was born and raised in Vancouver, graduating from UBC Bachelor’s of Science program. He traveled to the United States and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota, and has since returned to Canada to provide dental services. Growing up Dr. Chan spent a lot of time in the dental chair as a patient. As such, he understands that the dental clinic may be an environment that generates anxiety for some. He empathizes with his patients and will spend time to explain things in a way that can be easily understood. He is also proficient in Cantonese.
