Dr. Mark Berscheid completed his three year pediatric dentistry specialty training at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre through the University of Manitoba. He is Canadian Board Certified and a part time Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, where he is the head of the Pediatric Dental Program. He has a great joy for providing care for pediatric patients and enjoys the excitement and energy the littlest bring to dentistry. He is working on a study looking at silver diamine fluoride and approximal carious lesions. When he is not teaching and practicing dentistry Dr. Berscheid is an avid runner and busy father to three little people. Dr. Erika Ridgway obtained her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. She subsequently pursued specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Much of her program was focused on providing care to young and medically compromised patients at the BC Children’s Hospital. Concurrently, she completed her MSc in Craniofacial Science with her research focusing on dental panoramic positioning and preparation errors for mixed dentition patients. For the past two years, she has been a council member for the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Additionally, she is a member of the Saskatoon Dental Society. Dr. Ridgway is happy to be back in the prairies. Outside of the office . Ridgway enjoys yoga, cross-country skiing, and travelling. She has enjoyed meeting her wonderful patients and their families.
