Dr. Dunlop obtained her DMD degree at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Dunlop has been involved in general dental practice since 2003. She has been a clinical instructor, having taught part-time with the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in both the pediatric and prosthodontic dentistry departments. While living for two years in California, she worked in private practice as well as taught in an Advanced General Dentistry program of the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. She worked as a dental assistant for several years, gaining invaluable experience in general dentistry before returning to the University of Saskatchewan to pursue her degree in Dentistry. She has been a practicing dentist since 2014 and a valued team member at Willowgreen Dental since 2020. Dr. Maxwell Miller was born and raised in Saskatoon. In 2006, he moved to Montreal, where he studied Piano and Music Technology at McGill University. After working as a music composer, Dr. Miller studied Biochemistry at Concordia University before transferring to the Dental program at Schulich’s School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University, where he graduated with Honours. Dr. Miller spent the majority of the past 20 years in Eastern Canada and is happy to be back living in his hometown. Dr. Miller is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. In his free time, Dr. Miller composes music for film and television and is an avid vinyl record collector.

She practiced in Ottawa-Gatineau before joining us in 2017. What are Willowgreen Dental's office hours in Saskatoon?

Are dental X-rays at Willowgreen Dental safe?
Yes. We use digital dental X-rays that reduce radiation exposure by up to 90% compared to traditional film. A set of bitewing X-rays exposes you to roughly 0.005 mSv, less than the natural background radiation you receive in an hour. We follow the ALARA protocol and only take X-rays when clinically necessary.
Do you offer sedation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety?
Yes, Willowgreen Dental offers sedation dentistry options including nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation to help anxious patients feel comfortable during treatment. We discuss the best option for you based on your medical history and the procedure.
How often should I have a dental cleaning and check-up?
Most patients benefit from a professional dental cleaning and check-up every six months. Patients with higher risk factors such as gum disease, diabetes, or a history of cavities may need more frequent visits. Our team will recommend a schedule based on your individual oral health.
